Vohux Inc. ("Vohux", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our software products handle your information.

1. Our Principle: Local-First Where It Is Possible

Our desktop applications keep local processing where possible. Required network requests and optional connected features differ by product and are described in its product-specific privacy policy.

The following products and features are exceptions, and each is described in its own section below rather than covered by the local-only guarantees in Sections 2 and 3:

• Verscout — update checks, licensing and optional source contributions or iCloud sync. See the Verscout section below.
• CorpBooks — a cloud bookkeeping service, not a desktop application. See Section 5.
• Financial account connections — where a product connects to your bank or credit-card accounts to retrieve balances and transactions. See Section 6.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

The following local-only description applies to AppQuiver, not Verscout:

• Collect usage analytics or telemetry
• Track your behavior or browsing habits
• Transmit your files, documents, or data to our servers
• Use cookies or tracking technologies
• Sell or share any data with third parties

3. Data Stored Locally

This local-only description also applies to AppQuiver, not Verscout:

• Configuration files — app preferences and settings (stored in your home directory)
• License information — your license key and trial status (stored locally, never transmitted)
• Application data — registries, documents, and working data created by you within the Product

This data never leaves your device. You can delete it at any time by removing the application and its configuration files.

Verscout

Verscout scans your software inventory locally. Update checks contact publishers, package registries and the shared update catalog. Activation and periodic license validation send the necessary license information to Lemon Squeezy; license information is not exclusively local.

Active subscribers can separately opt in to contribute software names, bundle identifiers and eligible public update-source links to improve the shared catalog. Sharing is off by default. Contributions use random identifiers and exclude installed versions, usage history and local file paths. Software metadata can still reveal interests or aspects of your work. You can stop sharing and request deletion in Verscout settings. Optional iCloud sync and optional website measurement have separate controls.

The authoritative product-specific policy explains the fields, service providers, network logs, US storage, retention and deletion:Verscout Privacy Policy. The blanket local-only statements in Sections 2 and 3 do not apply to Verscout.

4. LaunchGate

LaunchGate is free and runs entirely on your Mac. It has no account, no analytics SDK, no telemetry and no server of ours. Every claim below was verified against the shipping source, not written from intent.

• Exactly one outbound request — to the connection-test URL you choose, which defaults tohttps://captive.apple.com/hotspot-detect.html. That request reveals to the host you contacted only what any HTTP request reveals, and it is sent with an ephemeral URL session, so no cookies or cache persist between checks.
• Everything else stays local — your managed-app list, your settings and your run history are stored only in~/Library/Application Support/LaunchGate/ on your own machine.
• Nothing is sent to Vohux — we receive no usage data, no app list, and no record that you ran it.

5. CorpBooks (Cloud Service)

CorpBooks is a hosted bookkeeping service and does not run locally. Sections 2 and 3 above do not apply to it. To provide the service, CorpBooks stores and processes your data on servers we operate:

• Bookkeeping data — transactions, receipts, and the financial records you enter or upload, stored server-side so the service can categorise, reconcile, and report on them
• Account data — the identifiers needed to sign you in and keep your organisation's records separate from every other customer's

CorpBooks uses third-party processors to operate: Google Cloud (hosting and storage) and Stripe (subscription billing). Stripe handles payment details directly; we do not receive or store your card information. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

6. Financial Account Connections

Some products can connect to your bank or credit-card accounts to retrieve balances and transactions, so that bookkeeping and reporting do not require manual entry. Where a product offers this, the following applies.

Your banking credentials are never shared with us. The connection is made through Plaid Inc., a regulated financial data aggregator. You authenticate directly with your financial institution inside Plaid's own interface. Vohux receives a scoped access token, never your username, password, or security answers, and never your full account numbers.

What we can retrieve through a connection you authorise:

• Account balances — current and available balances
• Transaction records — date, description, amount, and the account a transaction belongs to
• Account metadata — institution name, account type, and a masked account number used to tell your accounts apart

Access is read-only. A connection cannot move money. It cannot initiate a transfer or payment, pay a bill, trade, or change anything about your account. This is a property of how the integration is built, not a policy we could quietly relax: the software contains no money-movement capability, and an automated test fails the build if one is introduced.

Retention. Transaction records are retained for seven years, because financial records supporting a filed tax return must be kept — the Canada Revenue Agency requires books and records be retained for six years from the end of the last tax year they relate to, and we allow a margin beyond that. Balances are superseded on each refresh and not retained historically. Access tokens are destroyed when a connection is revoked.

Ending a connection. You can revoke a financial account connection at any time. Revocation invalidates the access token immediately and permanently ends all further retrieval — it does not wait on a request to us. You may also ask us to delete the data already retrieved, and we will comply.

We do not sell, share, or disclose this data to any third party, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models. The parties in the data path are your financial institution, Plaid as the aggregator, and Vohux. Plaid's own handling of your data is governed byPlaid's End User Privacy Policy.

7. Purchase Information

When you purchase a license, the transaction is processed by a third-party payment provider (e.g., LemonSqueezy, Gumroad). We receive your name and email address to deliver your license key and administer the purchase. For Verscout subscriptions, this also includes billing, renewal and cancellation notices, refunds, fraud prevention, and records required by law, as described in itsPrivacy Policy. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

8. Email Communication

We use your email address only for:

• Delivering your license key after purchase
• Responding to support requests you initiate
• For Verscout, necessary subscription, billing, security, and legal notices described in its Privacy Policy

We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or promotional communications unless you explicitly opt in.

9. Website

The Vohux website (vohux.com) is a static site, separate from the desktop applications described elsewhere in this policy — nothing on this page changes what Sections 2 and 3 say about the apps. The website itself uses third-party tools to understand how visitors use our pages and which links or advertisements bring them here. These tools may see: the pages you view, how long you stay, and the website, link or advertisement that brought you here (including campaign identifiers in the link); how you interact with a page (clicks, taps, scrolling and mouse movement), which may be kept as a replay of your visit with anything you type hidden; and your browser type, device type, screen size, language, time zone and country (not your city — our page-analytics tool is set not to store your IP address). Our advertising-measurement tool sets a cookie that recognises your browser on later visits for up to one year and may store its data on servers in the United States. None of these tools receive what you type into forms, your email address, or anything from inside a Vohux app. Tools we use to improve how our pages appear in search engines and AI assistants work only with our public page content and receive no information about you. None of these tools load unless you choose Accept in this website's cookie banner; if you choose Reject, or make no choice, they stay off. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, and you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

The support chat widget on this website is provided by Pickaxe (studio.pickaxe.co). Messages you type into that widget are sent to and processed by Pickaxe so we can respond to your questions; it is separate from the cookie-banner analytics tools above and is not gated by that banner.

10. Third-Party Services

AppQuiver does not integrate with third-party analytics or advertising services. Verscout uses the update-source, licensing, and hosting providers described in its Privacy Policy. Required update and licensing requests are distinct from optional source sharing and website measurement, each of which requires separate consent. The Vohux corporate website practices are described in Section 9.

CorpBooks, being a hosted service, necessarily relies on the infrastructure and billing processors named in Section 5. Those are service providers required to operate it — not analytics, advertising, or data-collection services.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

12. Data Security

Data stored locally by our desktop applications is protected by your operating system's security measures. We recommend keeping your operating system updated and using full-disk encryption. For Verscout's online services and optional source sharing, see the security and retention details in its Privacy Policy.

For CorpBooks, we are responsible for the security of the data we hold. Records are stored on Google Cloud infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest, and each customer's records are kept logically separate from every other customer's.

For financial account connections, data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or better on every request, and encrypted at rest wherever it is stored — on full-disk-encrypted local storage and, where cloud storage is used, under the provider's managed encryption. Access tokens are held in a single controlled location and never written into source code; an automated check blocks any change that would embed one.

13. Your Rights

AppQuiver's application data remains under your control on your device. Verscout subscribers can stop optional source sharing and request deletion from the app's settings, including after a subscription ends. Access, correction, deletion, and other privacy requests for Verscout can also be sent to [email protected]; its Privacy Policy explains applicable retention periods and recovery copies.

For CorpBooks, we do hold your data, and you may ask us to provide a copy of it, correct it, or delete it. Contact us at the address in Section 15 and we will respond promptly.

For financial account connections (Section 6), you have two independent routes and do not need to rely on us for either: you can revoke the connection yourself at any time, which immediately ends all further retrieval, and you can ask us to delete the data already retrieved. Where we are required to retain financial records for tax purposes, we will tell you which records those are and why, rather than refusing the request in general terms.

If you have purchased a license and wish to have your email address removed from our records, contact us and we will comply promptly.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on our website with an updated revision date.
