Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of software products and services provided by Vohux Inc. ("Vohux", "we", "us"), an Ontario, Canada corporation. By using our products, you agree to these Terms.

1. Products

Vohux develops and distributes software products (each a "Product"). These include desktop applications such as Verscout and AppQuiver, which you install and run on your own device, and hosted services such as CorpBooks, which you access over the internet and which we operate on your behalf. Each Product may have its own End User License Agreement (EULA) or service agreement with additional terms specific to it.

Verscout's current offer is US$6.99 per year for up to three Macs, billed annually and automatically renewing until cancelled. It includes a separate 21-day no-card trial and a 30-day refund policy for initial and annual renewal payments. Its subscription, activation transfer, cancellation, refund and consumer-rights terms are set out in theVerscout Terms of Service, which govern Verscout where they differ from these general terms. This does not reduce any more generous rights already promised for an earlier purchase.

2. Accounts & Purchases

Some Products require a license key for continued use beyond a trial period. License keys are delivered electronically after purchase. Each key is personal, non-transferable, and valid for one installation unless otherwise specified.

Purchases are processed by third-party payment providers (e.g., LemonSqueezy, Gumroad). We do not store your payment information. Payment provider terms apply to your transaction.

3. Trial Period

Products with a trial period provide full functionality during the trial. After the trial expires, a valid license key is required. No payment is collected during the trial and no credit card is required to start one.

4. LaunchGate (Free)

LaunchGate is provided free of charge and AS IS, with no warranty of any kind and no trial or licence key. Nothing in the trial, purchase or refund sections applies to it.

You may use it on as many machines as you like. You may NOT redistribute a modified or re-signed copy: the build we ship is signed with the Vohux Developer ID, and a re-signed copy carrying the LaunchGate name would make our signature meaningless as a statement about what the software does.

5. Refunds

We offer a 30-day refund policy on all purchases. If you are not satisfied with a Product, contact us at[email protected] within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All Products, including their code, design, documentation, and branding, are the intellectual property of Vohux Inc. and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your license grants usage rights only — not ownership.

Our desktop applications are designed to operate locally on your device. Our hosted services, such as CorpBooks, store and process your data on servers we operate in order to provide the service. We are committed to privacy in both cases. Please refer to ourPrivacy Policy for details on data handling.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. The entire risk arising out of the use of our Products remains with you.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Vohux Inc. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our Products. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific Product.

11. Termination

We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the Product. Sections on intellectual property, warranties, and liability survive termination.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our website. Continued use of our Products after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
